I recently went looking for a good Halloween mould and whilst doing so came across a lot of Skull silicone moulds, which made me realise that they deserved their own post.
The versatility of skull silicone moulds mean you can run wild with your imagination this Halloween. I encourage you to experiment. Perhaps a different material, change or colour or even paint it afterwards. Hopefully the moulds I have curated below will give you inspiration for some awesome skull themed designs.
My favourite Skull Silicone Moulds
3D Skull Halloween Candle Mould
This see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil skull mould could be something other than a candle. It’s almost 16cm tall, so it’s not massive as a candle but there is still plenty you could do with it.Â
Large 3D Skull Mould
This skull is quite large but nice to sit in your hand. The details and design and with it being made from food grade silicone, your options are open to making skull candles to skull chocolates.
Sugar Skull Silicone Mould
This is my favourite skull mould. I’ve made many resin pieces with this mould, and in lots of different colours. I love every single one and kept them all.
Sugar Skull Box Mould
This is another great sugar skull mould that is actually a box. It’s such a fun and quirky item despite being a skull and provides a great opportunity to add plenty of colour.
Ashtray/Trinket Bowl
This mould gives me a great idea for a trinket bowl. It reminds me of something from Pirates of the Caribbean. It has the skull in the middle with a menacing expression, a spikey jagged rim and more small skulls all around the edge. The detail is pretty amazing.
Skull Ice Resin Moulds
Each of the skulls here have really nice details with two of the skulls decorated with accessories. However rather than forming Ice cubes, perhaps something that’s going to last bit longer would compliment the design of these skulls better.
Large Single Ice Cube Mould
This skull mould is completely 3D. It’s designed to make large ice cubes but again, I’m sure other materials can be used.Â
Halloween Gummy Skull Silicone Mould
This is a nice simple skull mould that you can use to create a pendant or decoration. I find that the simplest moulds give you the most freedom and blank canvas to create something beautiful.
3D Retro Skull Moulds
These retro style skulls are a bit different and quirky. They would make a great pendant or Keyring.
Full Skeleton Mould
This next one is actually a whole skeleton, but hey it still has a skull. I wouldn’t use the photos to see it’s overall size as most of them are photoshopped, so are not accurate representations of the finished piece.
